La Leche

I knit this about a year ago and wrote the pattern shortly after but somehow never updated my blog with it. It was an idea I had in my head for quiet some time and when my very good friend Claudia was expecting a baby I finally had an excuse to knit it up and create the pattern.

It’s knit in Anzula Squishy (Colorway Maple) which I had picked up at TNNA that summer. A twisted stitch makes up the little brim and there are directions included for making a sweet little garter stitch flower. To purchase the pattern click here.

Isn’t he just about the cutest baby boy ever? Claudia had him in the best DIY bassinet ever, a laundry basket with a folded towel underneath and then a soft blanket on top. The baby was near a window with lovely soft filtered light and was sound asleep with his little hat on. It’s also very exciting to announce that Claudia now officially has her very own yarn shop, Yarn Rhapsody in Gainsville, GA. I am happy to say I have many knitting friends who shop there. Claudia was co-owner for about a year but took it over officially a few months ago. I know its been a dream of hers and its so fun to see her doing one of that many things she is good at. Drop on by if you are in the area.
