Angela Tong

Angela has been super busy the past 12+ months creating “The Structure of Shawls DVD and Creative Pin-Loom Designs Video” for interweave, a lovely pattern for Quince & Co. teaching classes at local shops near her stomping grounds (New Jersey) and even a Craftsy Mystery Knit-Along! She has a cool craftsy weaving class you may want to check out, its fantastic and quiet popular.

I first came to know Angela when she submitted to Petite Purls, she soon there-after became a Petite Purls regular. She began getting herself published in magazines, booklets and books.  You can find more of her patterns on Ravelry. One of her patterns was on the cover of Knit Simple magazine a couple of years ago, we had lots of fun running around Vogue Knitting Live that year, watching the magazine people hand out postcards featuring the photo of the cover of the magazine with her scarf.

She’s an amazing designer with a beautiful aesthetic, and she also makes very cute baby girls! My favorite pattern of hers is Princess because that photo and the shawl are pretty much the cutest thing ever.
