A knitty weekend..
I did a fair amount of knitting. I spent the first half of friday all motivated to do something with my SP3 gift:

I'm not telling what I'm makin! hehe!
I cast on for fitz yesterday and I have already gotten through 6 inches! Wow I'm improving in speed! I'm past the rib and into the body.

I have to say I'm not pleased so far with how the color knits up. There are some weird white and then yellow splooches of febric that are really annoying, like the color didn't take right. The purple looks out of place and hardly lasts 2 rows which Is not fun. I'll give it a chanse however and see how I feel when it's done, I think I'll like it no matter what simply because I made it!
I actually didn't knit near as much as I ment to. I spent the second half of friday trying very hard to sleep away a migrain.. then discovered sleep on my left side brought the headache on. Weirdness.. eventually it went away sometime late saturday. We went to go see "forgotten" or whatever it's called and wow that was scarey!

My guess is a Bonne Marie Chickami. Lookin' good. Are you finding the Cotton Fleece too "splitty"? I've never knitted with it; like you, I prefer wool.
With the Noro, you just have to close your eyes and knit - it always turns out. That's the beauty of Noro yarns is the colors are so unexpected.

For a cotton I would have to say it's really nice. Not to splity.. I would say cotton-ease is more splity. It wasn't as "wool-ish" as I imagined it but it really knits of fantastic, my stitches look so clean and even.
As always with cotton after about a half an hour of knitting my hands feel dry like I am scratching my nails on a chalkboard..
I have to say It's by far my fav cotton.. I need to try some super-wash wools to see how they compare for things like a tank. I don't know if wool is a good idea for that kinda stuff but I havn't really ever been one to pay attention to fibre content. If it's washable, I get it.

i made a FMB out of noro that had great colors except for this one bright turquoise that kind of annoyed me (i'm more of a dark-color person, typically, although you might not believe it from my recent knits; i am trying to break out of my fetters). BUT i really liked it wehn the whole thing was done. an unexpected like of a color that i would not typically even think of knitting up.
