Yikes! I did it! Gerbera Along!!
I just ordered lots of yarn.. for Gerbera!! Then after I did it I remembered I had yet to see a clear photograph of the neck of this sweater.. haha..
I ordered it in and Pewter/156 and Navy/166. I also got enough to make the hat.
It just so happens DH wants me to make a pattern from that same book so it works out.
That uses the very masculin named Hauk yarn (knit on 3-5 needles ackkkkk!! save my poor fingers!). I adore Dale patterns and yarns. My top three favs; Dale, Noro and Phildar!

SavannahChik (savannahchik.typepad.com) thinks that it is some sort of turtleneck neck...but I suppose at that point you can decide if you'd like it to be a fold over or a mock turtleneck (it seems more like a mock turtleneck).
