No soup for you
Well I finished the whole entire back to fitz while watching the debates last night. Go me!! yeah!! My next goal is to finish the front by next friday.
I wanted to take a pic today with my new techie toy but it won't let me email the pics to myself.. so here is a pictureless entry for ya.
I have been reading "Civilization & Its Discontents" by Freud. It's a very interesting book and not as hard to read as I thought it would be (however it has its moments), I find that reading about half a chapter at a time while in the bath makes it easier to understand and take it. I thought it was kinda neat that he breifly mentioned yoga and about how when you are doing yoga your kind of going back to when you where a child and the focus is on your body and its needs vs on the world around you and complex emotional issues.
Good stuff!

...and this is recreational reading? I guess I'd better put my Danielle Steele away (hehe).
Your knitting projects are evolving so quickly. Don't you just love Noro? Do you like the stripes (how does one spell "striping"?)better?

yeah I'm very picky about what I read. It's actually not a very thick book which makes it less intimidating!
Mm I have to say I'm not a big fan of the noro, but I guess I can't truley say till I have a finished sweater and I ware it.. apprently I like more structure in my color. The random bits of yellow and white (not in the color-way otherwise) really annoy me!

Wow.... Freud... I have studied him in my psych classes, and if this is pleasure reading, I'm impressed!!
Yay for progress on your sweater.
I signed up for a decorative stitches class at String of Purls - I'll let you know how it goes. It should be fun!

The class is October 5 (this Tuesday) at 6:30 (i think) - it's on their website. I wanted to try a class there and this was the only one that would work this month for me!
