Colinette Wayfarer
Well I took the plunge and ordered this book. WHY did I order it? Well because sitting on my office bed is the AbFab kit with its glorious yarn, and AROUND MY NECK is a new hand made scarf from my secrete PAL!!!!!!!!!! I need to post pics, i got an awful headache so I didn't do it last night but my SP put together the CUTEST things ever. Bath salts and the MOST adorable sheep tree ornamante you have EVER seen!!!!!!!!
So then on another blog someone posts a pic to this book I have wanted with FINALLY a front view of the zip up everyone wants to make:
It will take like 8 or 9 skeins to make with Point 5 (which by the way is not itchy atleast this scarf isnt and I think it's point 5) and on most websites its $20 for ONE SKEIN!!! On ebay i saw it for $12 a skein.. I certainly won't be allowed to buy the yarn for that for a LONG WHILE YET! lol
So I'll save it for a "one day" project.

I'm so glad you finally got the package. The scarf is indeed Colinette, but not Point 5. It's called One Zero (I think) and is a thick/thin wool yarn but a lighter weight than Point 5's bulky size. I used two strands of yarn together to knit up your scarf.
The bath salts were "cooked" up by my crafty friend Karin (badcat.blogspot.com).
By the way, Bloglines isn't working correctly for me and it links to my Finished Objects Blog (which I haven't updated in forever!) rather than to my Knitti-me blog. I'm going to have to get that fixed soon.
