1 year ago today my husband and I got married.

Sadly we can not eat our cake, because it was sitting in our parents freezer, and then there was a big storm and the electricity was out for 3 days.

Our first year of marriage has been great, we have made it a solid year with relative ease. I hope he and I will be together 30 years from now on this very same day.

We have one bottle of the white wine that was served (the only alcohal we allowed) but we have decided to save it for our 5th anniversery. We spent the weekend in our house, with a broken air conditioning, and he came into the bedroom while I was knitting, layed out in a pair of cotton undies and a tank top, him in just boxer shorts (87 degree's inside the house to be exact) and he leaned in the doorway and just smiled at me as a knit on my Chickami and said "Here we are, being misrable together" and smiled at me, and I smiled back.
