Alienware has horrible customer service
Ever heard of a company called alienware? Well if you havn't now you have. Don't EVER buy a computer from them. They have the worlds worst customer service. Their customer service reps have no power to do anything. We have been on the phone with tech support for 10+ hours total trying to fix my machine, with no end in site. They refuse (agains't there warranty) to take back a machine until they determine the problem. NO MATTER how many hours it takes. They won't ship it back to them for free until that happens.
DO NOT BUY A COMPUTER from Alienware. Here I thought they are the best, and it turns out they are the worst. So I am stuck with a $2.600 computer, that doesn't work and they won't take back to fix. It was less then 6 months old when it simply stopped working.
This is my way of paying them back, for their nice customer service. Please spread the word, thanks :)

Oooohhhh... bad customer service really ticks me off. Never dealt with Alienware (and never will). It's true that one positive experience will reach one person, but one negative experience will reach ten people.
They shouldn't PO a techie/knitter's blog buddy. ;)

I feel your pain... I purchased an Alienware laptop on Nov. 19th. I finally got it the 31st of Dec (due to a part being out of stock, they didn't bother telling me this until after the projected ship date) The video card went out three weeks after I received it. I sent it in to be fixed. Now, 6 weeks later, they haven't even looked at it, saying the "new screen is on backorder" even though they told me the video card was what needed to be replaced in the first place. Three weeks ago they told me the video card was fixed, and it would be shipped to me soon. I just found out 5 days ago that no work has been done on it, and they need the new screen to determine if the video card needs replacing.
