Solid Socks and Shaggy Spouses!

While I try to find something to knit on that makes me happy.
So I can now use the Magic Loop! I'm scared for when I get to the heel and all, but I think I can use my DPNs for that part maybe...
It does go fairly fast though. I only cast on an hour ago and the first hour for me is always the roughest.
So there it is, a solid sock. I need to update that page, loads more people have joined now and I have a some completed picture to post (by participants, not me of course DOH!), I'm just to tired tonight after my "first" day on the new job. It was fine, but I was late, twice, and I got my period and felt generally "off". I felt more sorted out tonight after reading through some stuff, I think every single day will be a bit better, baby steps back to normality!!

You won't have to switch to dpns for the heel, it's SO EASY - after you turn it, and pick up you side stitches - all you have to do is knit to the middle of the heel, pull both needle ends until the 'loop' part disappears, and the sock isn't divided anymore. Find the middle on the opposite side and yank the loop back out. (so is that worse? lol)
