If I only had a brain... (and a meme)
So last night i sit down with my new needles and I cast on 60 stitches for a made up trekking sock. 60 stitches seemed pretty good, but I decreased by 4 stitched and it seems a bit better. Maybe if I got thinner yarn I could hit the 60-70 stitches so many sock patterns are written in.

So then after I cast on for the sock well mainly just to test out how many stitches I would need for a sock to fit on the size 0 needles, I found it hard to stop! Trekking is sooo beutiful and fast to knit with.
So then I finally made myself pick up the sweater and I pulled out the new #6 needles and I am looking at them and thinking, gee these don't seem any longer then the ones I already have. So long story short I get all mad because I realize I meant to buy 36" and yet I wound up with 26" and I try to smash them back into the package and get a bit pissy and go back to the sock and then get into bed.
While laying in bed my brain suddently decides to "compute" and I realize, oh duh they didn't have 36" so I just got the same size so I could try the two circular method... Needles to say I went to bed after that!

I'm a Graphic Designer and I am doing the design for a childrens book about a Unicorn that my mother-in-law wrote. It's called CrindelStar. I did the web design too (nothing to brag about...) but the site's down, we're trying to get funded...
