Rowan Felted Tweed - Salina

So last night I finished that sleeve, got my sewing machine all set up to go and then turned the heel on my trekking sock. I hate picking up the stitches I always seem to do one side right and one side wrong. So then trying to get tired I decided to swatch for Salina. I was a busy girl!

Rowan Felted Tweed - Watery
US 5 Crystal Palace Bamboo Straights
5.5-6 stitches per inch

My thoughts on Rowan Felted Tweed. Very light, very delicate, and beyond easy to pull apart and break. No need for a scissor here people! I was getting 6 stitches to the inch, it calls for 5.75. So well then I tried it on #4 and it's only like one smidge smaller. I think I'm going to try with #4 on a sleeve and see how it goes.

Eeeeh, I need to pick up this project again. Maybe I should wash all my frogged yarn first before I start over =)

You will love how it feels after a wash!

Beautiful color for Salina. I didn't think you posted it yet since you were swatching. I really like my gauge on the #3

Just beautiful color! I'm so envious of how motivated you are. I'm having a rought ime this month finding a project I love enough to stick with it.

i love salina! and thanks for the comment on my poncho :-)

I read over a comment you posted over on Ei Knit. Just wanted to say that the color for your Salina is lovely, and that I also only got gauge on US4 needles :)

looove the color you chose for salina!
