how to get your logo to show up in Bloglines

This may also apply to other "feed readers" but Bloglines is the only one I use right now. Here is an example of the image.

I used a large image so it would show up but I reccomend using a smaller image, such as 100x100 so as not to annoy your readers by forcing them to scrool through a bunch of big logos.

I use Movabletype for my blog, here is a screen shot of my "templates" section;

I reccomend editing the atom.xml (Atom Index) and the index.xml (RSS 2.0) files. In this example I am editing the atom.xml file;

You would need to re-type that and put in your websites proper values. You can use flickr to host your image. If you don't have a place to put your images I can not help you with that sorry! I reccomend Flickr.com

Jen over at the Jenla Blog helped me out by giving me examples of how she did it in Wordpress;

Jen edited the following files to get it to work for her; wp-atom.php, wp-rss.php and wp-rss2.php

I have been unable to find a way to edit the feed in Blogger, if you know of a way please let me know and I'll post it.
