whirling weekend
Well there was a lot of traveling this weekend and not much being at home knitting. So I'll share with you two photos.
At the in-laws sunday celebrating an early 4th of July. I did a little knitting.
My new favorite possession, a SWIFT!! I'm excited it matches my ball-winder, cause I'm a geek like that.
Oh yeah and from saturday, how ADORABLE are these knitting women!?

I waited for ages to get a swift but I would never, ever, EVER give mine up now. It is a whole lot easier than winding skeins from a chair or laundry basket. The blue is nice.. mine is orange.

I thought I never needed a ball winder and swift, that is until I got them. I was winding everything in sight! My husband just grinned at how caught up I became, looking through my stash for skeins to wind. Really, just one more...
