FO - Fetching (knitty.com)
I knit this in exactly 24 hours! It didn't take me 24 hours, but it was knit within a 24 hour time span. I got home at 6pm last night and just cast-on (no swatching tsk tsk but it fits!) and knit away. I just finished and it's 6pm now exactly one day later. I suppose it took me 4 hours total, maybe. I knit it on Crystal Palace DPN's.
Pattern: "Fetching" from Knitty
Yarn: Alchemy Synchronicity in "Aquamarine"
Modifications: None, but now I wish I had done like others and maybe a few extra knit rows before I bound off, probably one more cable repeat (5 rows total).
Yarn Review: It's delicate like Debbie Bliss "100% Pure Silk" in that if you nick it, it can bloom. It actually broke once when I was knitting it but something must have been wrong with that area, it seemed like a fluke thing. It's also a bit more rough and raw like "Tilli Tomas" Pure & Simple 100% silk, but I think that's because of the wool mixed in. I wouldn't want to knit a sweater from it, but it's just wonderful for this little accessory. It was $20 for 118 yards and then take 20% off of that.

It wouldn't take long at all to rip out the BO and do a few more rows, if it would make you happier in the long run.

i did the same thing... first pair of fetchings, i went by the pattern, and then second pair i did another cable section on the top before binding off.
i think the fetchings are super quick, and i like how they are a bit "girly" lol. i really love the color of yours. pretty!
