slow progress
My birthday was fun, and my husband really shocked me by upgrading my laptop from a 12" Powerbook to a 15" MacBookPro. I went all giddy, first because I was very suprised and wasn't even thinking of a new computer.
Two times durring the setup I gasped in delight. The first was when suddenly the keyboard lite up! I didn't know they had lite up keyboards now. I giggled as I moved my hands over the light sensor and watched the keyboard dim or get brighter. Then when it wanted me to enter in my profile name etc suddenly my own face was plastered across the screen, OMG a webcam!! It has a tiny little camera located in the top of the monitor perfect for video conference calls or just being silly.
My husband is spoiling me, I told him it was too much but he insisted I should have it.
Saharah is looking grand, I'm a ways farther along then this but too tired to take more photos right now.
I've had a busy week and I'm just plain tired, and I can't wait to get into bed and snuggle with my dogs. I woke up this morning to find Toby up on the pillow between my husband and I on my left, Willow down by my right leg, and Tala the kitty sleeping just to the right above my head. I was surounded by animals, and it was a lovely feeling.

Wow! What an awesome gift! Those light up keyboards are pretty fun, and just be careful, that webcam can cause you to lose hours of productivity...I speak from experience.
And are you calling your husband an animal? ;)

Wowee!! What a wicked fun laptop!! Lucky birthday girl! light up key pad?! It's like a faeryland laptop - I love it!! Can defiantely empathie with the fatigued-ness - bring on the weekend!!! Bring on the snuggling in bed with doona and fluffy critters!! :)
