HP Madness!!

I don't know about you, but I am *so* ready for Harry Potter Madness to start up again! The last book is due out this summer, and hopefully the next movie is due out later in the year. I have already decided my UFO of this month will be my HP scarf that I still havn't finished (I think it was 5 feet long last I checked).

So check out how fantastic this is! I have followed Alison of the Blue Blog for years, she's a magknits contributer and knits the most adorable things for her kids. She has written a knitting book, and not just *any* knitting book but an HP knitting book!

Here is my UFO scarf the last time I worked on it;

Wow that's Nov 2005 people, man I guess I have been knitting like 3 years now!

Let's all pre-order and send this book to one of those amazon.com top ordered book lists haha! In other news, the husband flys back home tonight after a job interview in San Fran, wish us luck will you?!

It took me over a year to finish my harry potter scarf too.. but now I wear it a few times a week. Just keep at it and it will be finished eventually!

The next HP movie is actually due out 10 days or so before the final book. Why can't they space these things out for the addicts amongst us?

I can't WAIT for Harry Potter7!!

I just caught up on your last two podcasts, and it was a real treat to hear you again. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your hubby's job prospects.

Best of luck on the job :)

How brilliant!! I'm going to totally preorder that book! Imagine all the Pottery Hogwartsy knitted goods we can all produce! Good to have you back in blogland Pixie - you were missed :) xo

Go Jesse - good luck with the job!

I saw the ad for the new Harry Potter in the book store the other day, and just about did a little dance of excitement. My BF was thrilled by how cool I am, let me tell you! I so want the charmed knits book....must add it to my list (which is now as long as my arm).

Oooh! I am so going to pre-order that book! Did you see that Daniel Radcliffe is appearing nude in some play over in Europe? Go Harry!

I am the biggest fan of HP at my school. I am completely obsessed. In my theatre class one day (ok so it was a week) we started talking about the probability of the death of all of the characters. My teacher actually got out the board to write on it!

Anyway, I think my first sweater will be a Ron sweater. I just got into knitting last summer but I love it! I would adore it if i could incorporate my old love with my new love!

And the movie comes out a little before the book, which I don't get at all.

i remember seeing this book recently (last week) and was surprised by the creativity (and genius) of it. =)

Hi! This is a spinning question, what do you think of the Joy? I'm going to be in the Atlanta area end of March and wanted to try some wheels out at Knitch, I checked their website, and I saw they just sell the Ashford line. Do you know of any other yarn stores in the area that let you try wheels?

I am addicted to knitting podcasts, so I am thrilled to have found you!

Bea,

I love my Ashford Joy, I believe Knitch has one in their store to try out. I don't know of any other Atlanta area stores with wheels sorry!

I reccomend the joy :)

Just been thinkin' about ya!

Hope things are going good for ya..

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Christine
