I got a postcard in the mail from Cast on Cottage yesterday. It was letting people know that the owner has sold the shop! At first I was like OH NO! I'm supposed to meet Claudia there this Saturday and I want to pick up some Oh My! Plymouth yarn while I was there.

I quickly called them up and they are not closing or anything like that. The postcard mentioned the new owner would be running it as a yarn shop and everything but I wasn't sure if they would close it and re-do the signage etc. When I called they informed me they will not be closing and they aren’t taking stock out, just improving things over time I think. I actually learned to knit at that shop, and it's 15 minutes from my work so I have gone on many lunch hour expeditions. I'm glad to hear they aren’t closing.

Update: I heard from another source that they are turning half of the shop into needlepoint supplies. Interesting.
