Despite it all
Well so last night feelng anxious and knowing I would only find out more any time I spoke to anyone, turned on the tv or used the internet and being BORED out of my mind I dragged the husbeast to Kroger at 20 till mdinight. Yes there was a line. It was interesting to get to see some of the people that live in the area. One guy had come 40 minutes from the north (like I said, not many places to buy books arond here) and he said there was a borders on the way but he knew it would be a very long line and was hoping just to pick it up and run. He was older, in fact there was kids in the line but in most cases I heard the parents say they wanted the book for themselves. I had to sit down after standing for the 20 minutes, what a wimp!
So there was 3 things I knew before reading the book that turned out true (obviously I'm not going to share them with you) and each time I came to those items I couldn't help but feel disapointed. I still enjoyed the book loads, I think it was the perfect length and I wont' say anything else about it.
So I stayed up until around 3am or so, then woke up at 10 and began reading again and finished around 5, I took a few breaks, mostly to eat and well I eat a lot now so that was several breaks!
I worked on Brett's Hedgie which will forever have a secret nick name of Harry the Hedgie, but to my nephew he will be "Spider Hog". Then I put the hedgie down and we worked on my husbands office. We have to clean-up and clean-out everything before I can get new carpet put in. So we cleaned out his closet and we used loads of plastic bins to organize his stuff and then pack his closet full. Then we put together a entertainment stand thing thats nice and wide for our big tv. Then because I was feeling geeky I went and found some special cord that glows read that I got him a while ago, and put it behind the tv stand and it looks very cool. Now I need to get him some sort of red strobe so he can "rave in the cave" while he codes in his office.
My camera doesn't do well in low light, the room isn't actually this dark. Canon's have never done well with that, which is why I loved Olympus camera's but the Canon's do so much better for knitting photos when you need close-ups of yarn.
Would you think I was a total dork if I told you I was keeping my amazon.com Deathly Hallows IN the box and not even opening it? I'm thinking it's a neat collectors item if it's never opened. Plus the box is neat.

I just finished the book. Loved it! Waited in line with about 8 other people for Target to open this morning but it was worth it. Cute hedgehog!

I left work after my midnight shift and drove into town for my copy. I'm not done yet but I like it so far.

I'm still only half-way through (I decided that husband and children deserved _some_ attention) and I'm delighted that the spoilers I saw are so far completely wrong :-)
(And yes, I think it's a bit dorky, but you'll get the last laugh when it's worth a fortune!)
