I should have been knitting
Well I would have cast off the bottom of the baby cardigan by now but I was far too fucused on getting that furniture.
The cardi is so much more tiny in person then in those photos I have seen of it. My gauge is spot on (checked and double checked) so it should be the right size. I'm knitting the seed stitch bottom band now and I'll work on it before bed tonight.
Loads of people have gone off on vacation because of the mid-week holiday so the parking lot at work was more then half empty. It's a nice break from the chaos of the last month so after work I actually had enough enegery to drag the husband to Target. I simply couldn't wait a whole week! I am seriously picky about deocrations and furniture, so when I do find something I like I want to make sure I get everything.
My disapointment so far is that the dresser comes with 2 sets of nobs, glass (as seen in these photos) and some neat little antiqued pewter ones. I prefer the pewter. Well, the little desk did NOT come with the optional pewter nobs. WTF!?
Also I got a cute blue/green (with some pink.. meh) quilt and sheet set for a future twin bed we plan to get. On top was a cute little basket my friend Brooke got me as a gift, turns out it's from the same collection and matches perfectly.
The price wasn't too awful (yay target!) and we also got the husbeast a big huge tv-table thingy that he can put all his game consoles in and the huge TV on, now he has to clean HIS office so we can move the big TV into there.

How cute is that rainbow cardigan? :)
Love all the little accents you bought for your home!

Everything is coming together nicely. I'd prefer pewter too, but the glass adds a nice innocence to the room.

The cardi is coming along very well and the furniture is SO pretty. I'm sure it's going to be a lovely baby room.

Too cute! I saw that on Yarn Harlot's site and I think I'd like to knit it too! I just need to find a baby to give it too.
