Hog Hog Hog
Okay I don't know why he looks like he has a "blemish" in this photo but he doesn't! Also his eyes are on SOOO crooked but if I take the photo from the right angle it doesn't look as "bad". Thats what I get for attaching eyes in in a semi-dark room, and then sewing it up before checking properly. I mean it looked fine at the time but it's not like I really looked close. I like him anyway though, but he doesn't have a name so I just call him Hedgie.
So in a fit of Hedgie Happyness I ran to the LYS on the way to my doc apointment yesterday, and I grabbed yarn to make 2 for my nephews and a pink one so this guy has a buddy. I started straight away on what I am calling me "Spiderman" Hedgie. My older nephew Brett LOVES spiderman (though he's never actually seen a movie) and he's like 3 years old, so I thought he would enjoy one in those colors.
I could have knit the whole entire hedgie today, I wound up taking the second half of the day off because I was so tired (working from home) and Mollie Maid came over for the first time (hell yes!) but I didn't want to do much of anything. So then finally this evening I got some energy and started arond 6 or 7 PM and finished the front up around 11. I didn't knit the whole time either. It's so nice knitting something a second time, it always goes faster!

Your Hedgie is adorable, wonky eyes just give him character.

That what makes him so cute are his off set eyes. I can't wait to see the others!!

Aw, he's adorable! If I didn't hate knitting with eyelash yarn so much, I'd make one for myself! (grin)

I LOVE how adorable he came out. I saw my 1st hedgehog in person a few months ago at a LYS and he went ont he the TO DO list - now you have made me want to start one sooner rather than later. AFTER the current WIPs are finished though because I am TRYING to be good. Key word trying, and if I fall of the project monogamy wagon to start a hedgie, it's all on you ;-)
