My Kit Came!
Okay Two Swans is back in my good graces, it only took 3 days to get here, if even! I was all shocked when I went outside to check the mail and saw a fedex box up against my garage. I knew what it was though! Wow this is a pretty book. I have never gotten Simply Shetland or Jamieson's before. It's all so pretty. I'm about to photo-over-load-you. All I can hope is there isn't need for an errata, this is the bain of any knitter who decides to knit something right after the pattern comes out and before others have yet.
A very nice note apologizing again for taking longer to send it. Totally great customer service.
The book is beutiful.
But the yarn is even prettier :)
I am very pleased with my color selection, considering it was over the internet and a tad bit of a gamble. I think the contrast between the gold and the blue/green is there. We will see when I swatch!

Ooh, pretty! Now I'm jealous. I DID hear from her today, but it's going to take a few more days for me because she didn't have enough of the gold in one dyelot for the three (three!) skeins I needed, so I have to wait until her next order comes in, hopefully on Friday, before she can ship mine . . . Sigh. Yours looks so PRETTY!! And yes, your color choices look fabulous. I went with the originals--a rare thing for me, really--but I do love a good, autumn color combination, so . . .

Oh gosh how I love a new project! It is going to be beautiful. I just love that sweater! How did you go about choosing colors? Did they help you? The original colors are pretty, but wouldn't look good on me. I love the colors you chose.; ) So did you cast on yet?

I think your colors came out pretty darn close to the website smaples. I think you'll be pleased once it's complete.

I ordered from them too! But I haven't gotten my kit yet, although I haven't waited that long, YET. I'm getting anxious, looking for the box everyday... I love color you selected. I'm more of a red girl myself so I'll be sticking to the original color.
