tic toc tic toc
So last week I had purchased the 2nd season of Entourage from target. They had sold out of the first. Oh let me rant for a moment. I love itunes but hate how they never seem to have the first season of ANYTHING which is normally what I want! Okay back to this, so I watched the entire season in about 24 hours, which was DUMB because I didn't "make it last" but man I really enjoyed it! I was suprised, so went ahead and ordered season #1 and #3 on amazon.com and I am anxiously awaiting it's arrival. It says it's will arrive at easliest friday, BUT it shipped out from Atlanta so as it says it's been "sent out" I am hoping that I could get it tommorow as I would think by the end of tonight it would be possibly up near roswell or someplace closer to me. Normally when I get stuff shipped I see it sent to roswell and then out to me, which is odd because I'm not terribly close to Roswell.
Yes Georgia has a place called "Roswell" and we also have a place called "Athens" and "Rome" all of which have always amused me. "I'm going to Athens" is always fun to say, it's a cute town too.
I'm working on heel of that twisted sock and I'm happy with it but too lazy to photograph it. Now when I ordered those DVD's i also ordered Amigurumi!: Super Happy Crochet Cute but it's delayed for some reason, and I am so anxious to learn how to count my rounds properly. They say "not to join" and "not to turn" and I have NO IDEA what that means, I need a crochet class BAD! Also because I am horribly bored the husband and I went on Monday to the book store and I picked up Simply Knitting and also a good book called "Snow Crash" or atleast I like it so far. It's a cyberpunk novel which I havn't ever read those sorts of books before and I'm like 1 chapter in and so far I really like the writting style and descriptions.
Oh yeah so back to crochet and "Simply Knitting" (ya still with me here?? lol) it has an adorable crochet "bolero" type jacket and I LURV it I can't find a picture of it online dang it. Now I believe the british crochet terms are slightly different then American... I really want to make this though and it's directions are super simple meaning there isn't much to it! I even think I have stash yarn for it... I think I need a private crochet class or something to get through this though!

your stuff is probably getting sorted at the roswell UPS facility before getting on a truck headed your way. funny, i'm in smyrna and my stuff always goes to the doraville hub first.
i need a crochet class too, i want to make amigurumi and all of the cute projects in the japanese "knit" (read: crochet) book i picked up. maybe after the holidays i'll treat myself to a lesson or two at knitch.

Ooh, I really enjoyed Snow Crash, but I have to say that my favourite Neal Stephenson novel has to be _The Diamond Age: A Young Lady's Illustrated Primer_. It's definitely worth a read if you're interested.

Wow seems like you are nesting! Remember nesting doesn't have to be cleaning - but 'holy book buying batman'! I believe you can mark your round on crochet with a pin or something - All I have to say is....'I left crochet for knitting' it is just a ton easier for me.

Hey, I just finished that last month. It's a great read. Now I'm on The Diamond Age, which is also excellent. His books are a little slow to get into for me, but I love them once I do.

i enjoyed snow crash. at least, i think it was snow crash that i read. can't remember whether snow crash is the one that features a character with "poor impulse control" tattooed across his forehead or whether it's some other fabulous cyber-punk novel i read. get me in a yarn store and i'll show you poor impulse control!
