TV Shows I now love
It's been atleast a year if not longer that I have had any tv shows I truley enjoy watchihng. For the past 3 years it was "Sci Fi Friday" in this house with Battlestar Galactica, Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. I also enjoyed those 2 seasons of Making the Band with Aubrey, and then The Girls Next Door was another favorite.
So in the last few months being stuck in bed more, and now being that I just WANT to watch TV a little bit as I get to see very little of it now, I have found some great new shows that I am really enjoying and I wanted to share them with you.
Entourage (HBO) - Wow okay I love this show, you can't mind big time potty mouth or possible nude scenes with this show. The acting is phenominal. Ari Gold is THE MAN. Youtube.com has LOADS of clips of Ari, and he just won an Emmy for his performance on this show. He is just fantastic, it's a great cast. View the "best" of Air Gold. He seems like a horrible person, but when you watch the show you learn he's actually a really gtreat guy. He's probably the only person in "Hollywood" who hasn't cheated on his wife. He is a very unique character but watching the clips I think you would probably think he's a dirt bag, but he's not and you love him and thats whats so great about his charachter. Hug it out bitch! They even have baby Hug it out onsies on the HBO site... it's a cult I think. I actually got these on DVD and sadley finished a season a day, it was THAT good. I should have made it last longer.
Ugly Bettty - This show caught me by suprise, I watched it bored one night and now can't stop watching it. It's actually pretty cute and interesting, and again a good cast.
Life - Brand new show, I really liked it. Has the guy from Band of Brothers (my husband has made me watch that like 3405890385 times). Unique plot. Cop gets put in jail for 12 years, then is found out he is innocent. He collects millions but comes back to be a cop still, or a detective... not 100% sure. I enjoyed it.
House - Can't believe that dude has an english accent, you would never know he was British! Loooove this show. The new season just started.
Bionic Women - Holy crap half the cast of Battlestar Galactica is in this, STARBUCK has a major roll! I had no idea, they should have pushed that in the previews they might have gotten more peopel watching the premier. It was good!
The Office - I jsut got on Netflix the European version of this, I don't like it. I had heard it was better then the American but to me, the boss in the Euro one isn't very lovable, the American one i really like the boss even though he is an idiot, and on occasion he does do something good for the company which gives validity to him having a job. If you have them be idiots all the time then it kind of becomes, yeah right this guy wouldn't have a job at THAT point. But I am biased, I've been watching the American one for several seasons now so I'm sort of hooked. Again, great cast.
So those are my TV reccomendations. I'm not sure I'll catch all the new episodes like I used to be able to, but I watch them when I can. I would like to check out Journeyman, I missed its premier. It looks like Quantum Leap from the 90's. I should set the TIVO up to record all of those shows for me, or hrmm even better I'll ask my husband to do it!
Obligatory cute baby photo:

Awww, she looks like her daddy there. LOVED the bionic woman! That's going to be a great show. Hubby loved the girl fight in the rain. He's hooked.

LOL - that's Hugh Laurie putting on an American accent! When he does British it's definitely British. (There's a wonderful bit when he phones someone in the middle of the night to try to get some information on a patient, and to cover just how rude he's being he pretends to be British and so in a completely different time zone. So that's Hugh Laurie, who's British, pretending to be an American who's pretending to be British... OK!)
Oh, and I love the episode on the plane - you can just see Rachel-from-friends sitting next to him wittering on about how she still loves Ross...
Stacey Barber says;
By the way, Damian Lewis (the guy on Life) is also British.

Have you seen Torchwood yet on BBC America? I am really loving that and can't wait to see where they go with it.

She is just so cute! We both did so well in that department with our babies.

Hugh Laurie is just brilliant in everything he does. Who knew he could do drama so well? After all those years of (really well done) silly comedy? He had a small little role in "Sense & Sensibility" too and just ran with it . . . the man is brilliant. He's a musician and a writer, too . . .
And, oh yeah, cute baby you've got there, too! (grin)

First, Baby Pixie is a pretty little girl!
Oh! I love House, we don't get to watch very often - but I always enjoy it. Hugh Laurie is great, did you know he was a regular on the Black Adder series (an older British comedy) with Rowan Atkinson? ...I forgot the Bionic Woman was starting, I'll have to check it out, when I think of the Bionic Woman I think Lindsey Wagner, does that age me or what? And Mouse I'm right there with you. If you haven't checked out Torchwood on BBCA you totally should we're hooked on that one! Have a wonderful weekend!

I watched the premiere of Journeyman and was very disappointed. But I did like that new show "Chuck"! That was a surprise. And OMG, that episode of Ugly Betty made me bawl my head off...
Love the look on the little one's face!
