I love Ewe
So I was shopping online at Gymbore and they had this collection called "I love Ewe". How could I resist? It was on a sale too. So any of you ewe-aholics who are a sucker for baby clothing with sheep on it, go get ya some!
How adorable is that? This was before I washed it and while taking it out of the packages. It's all ready to be worn now, I want to save it for when we go out of the house or something. So cute, just my style. Green cordaroy, cute little cream onsie and adorable little shoes. Check out flickr for more close ups.
This week has been wonderful. Two major things happened for me personally. First my wedding rings fits. I had tried it on last week and it certainly did not fit. I am so thrilled. Next up I hit 129 on the scale, I've been at 130-131 for nearly 2 weeks now. Prior to that I had been dropping weight pretty well. I was worried it has stopped. If I can get down to 120 I will be thrilled. I'm not dieting but I was actually lighter then that before being pregnant, but 120 would be wonderful, then maybe I would fit into my old pants! Besides those 2 things baby girl has been a gem this week. Oh she's had some melt downs, but she's allowed me not just to shower stress free while she's awake, but even knit! She finally doesn't mind being laid down on the floor, in fact she loves it. She doesn't want any fancy toys, she just wants to see different rooms of the house. She will lay there for up to 30 minutes, jabbering away while I clean, knit, do laundry etc. This is a break through ya'll!
So I'm very happy I picked this new Minamlist Cardigan, its a pretty fast knit considering I've not had that much time to pick it up. I loooove Art Fibers Satori.
I hope it fits, I'm knitting the smallest size which is 34" and I have gauge. I'm not entirely sure the smallest size was a good idea, I guess we will find out. I actually have a 36" bust now but I plan on wearing it open. I think it's a great post partum project because it's not too form fitting and can hide my muffin top. Also what a great pattern. Stockinette, ribbing and seed stitch - no better way to show off how a yarn can look all those different ways. This issue of IK has been fantastic for classic knits that really let the yarn shine.

Cute stuff. Gotta love the jabbering and looking around =) I remember how relieved I was when I could finally put them down for 20 or 30 minutes, it's a good feeling. (freedom)

As the parent of none but the older sister of five I remember the relief of our whole house when "the baby" was old enough to be put down for a few minutes without crying. Baby girl is adorable, she looks so happy.
