Knit Happens
I am thrilled to be able to show you some decent knitting progress on the Minamalist cardi. In fact sence this photo was taken another 5 inches of the sleeve shaping have been knit even! I'm too tired to photograph it again and trying to back up all the tv shows and pictures from my computer as it's warning me I am running out of room. I have 10 gigs of photos even!
Isn't this yarn pretty? My husband doesn't like the color which I thought was funny of him to comment on seeing as it's my favorite color. It's such a quick knit. This is the right front and it's very nearly finished.
In the photo below, this is the face that melts my heart. She makes this face when I speak to her and tell her she's pretty. How does she seem to know when we tell her how cute she is? I just love this expression, she actually holds her head slightly differently, and gives these doe eyes and sort of tilts her head down but her eyes up. I was happy to have caught it on film and she only makes this face when I am holding her sitting up right and she is holding her head up on her own.
Also check out these niffty mats I got for her. I have seen a lot of knitters use these as blocking boards, and being the designer at heart I can never stand them in primary colors so I never got any. I found a site that allows you to buy a pack in 1 color only.
And here she is in the "I love Ewe" onsie, which fits her but the overall's are way to big and the shoe's fall off. It's weird how in her size the onsie's always fit but the jackers and sleep type outfits are all huge in the same exact size.
The husbeast and I went walking today, I want to take my camera next time it's soooo pretty out. 70 degree's is my fantasy weather and it's going to be like that all week, well we passed a neighbor and it was a women who had a 6 week old girl! She and another neighbor walk each day around 4pm so they are going to come by my house tommorow (I hope!) so I might make some new friends and then baby girl will have some other kids to play with! Apparently there was 3 of us within a few blocks of my house that had a baby in September.

SO STINKIN' SWEET AND CUTE! I think babies understand much more than we give them credit for. I'm glad you caught that special little gleam in her eye, it's precious.
Good knitting stuff too =) It just pales in comparison to your best creation. lol

Walking buddies are the best! I had a great group of friends to walk with while I was on maternity leave and it was so nice to have something to look forward to during the day! Enjoy it! The fresh air will be great for Sydney as well!

You mean those mats don't just come in primaries? I'm happy to here that the cardigan is a quick knit, I've been thinking about putting it on my list but was afraid it would take forever.

She is so cute! Ethan is holding his head up now too. He does body surfing (head and legs elevated while on his belly) ... too cute. Love the "ewe" clothes. I have an outfit with sheep on it for my little guy but its too big still.
