it's on!
We ordered our plan tickets, hotel and car rental for Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival, it is SO on!!
I was really frustrated because the flights went up in price form last week by a good $50 a seat, no fun. So who will I see this year? I wonder if Cara will come again. I met Eunny and saw Wendy and of course Monica of My Two Left Needles (who seems to be MIA and I miss reading her blog dearly!). It's too late and I'm too tired to link all those names up, sorry! I think I even have some pixie pins stashed some place.
I'm just anxious and excited about my new pattern (first even!) and a bit frustrated because I want to release it next week but I wanted to re-knit it but I won't get the new numbers until tomorrow so there really isn't time to re-knit and re-shoot the photos. So I am considering just using the test-knit photos for the pattern but that is very different yarn then I used (but I sure loved in the FO and now want to order some of the yarn myself!). The entire original concept was a patriotic top, but then I think if I make it less "theme-y" it will probably be more accessible to people. I could always use the photos of her in the 4th of July version but I like having a photo of a proper sized top to really show off how well it looks on the babies form. Properly fitting is always better. I could wait another week to release it, but I'm SO ANXIOUS! It's nice having you all along on my journey on becoming a "designer" and all the trials and tribulations one goes through. It's all rather fun though!

Too funny, we just booked our hotel too! Where are you staying?
About the pattern - I know you well enough by now to know that with EITHER pictures, it will be great! I know it's been a bit of a challenge but the end result is well worth it!
