Evidence of Bad Doggy Behavior

This was the result of putting the dogs in our master bedroom while BG and I took a nap, so they wouldn't bark and wake us. They found diapers on the bathroom counter (dirty ones!) from when I take them off before BG's bath. There was two up there from the last too nights.

This was the result of leaving the house for 1 hour to get IHOP with BG and the husbeast. We found broken links all over, they are little toys BG plays with and gnaws on.

Sometimes I'm surprised the golden is still alive with how much bad stuff she eats. She has consumed several pacifiers and she eats nearly the entire thing.

I have demanded that the husbeast take the dogs out for a walk tonight. I've been asking him for a year now so I'm not sure he will listen, but ya never know. I can't walk willow, she pulls me too hard.

Oh no! I hope you don't have any interesting finds when you take the dogs out!

I know the feeling - my lil dog Diego chewed a hole in the couch when I was in the hospital having Lily and would take out his jealousy on anything that he could chew up of hers once she got here. He loved her but he wanted attention. And what is it with dogs and dirty diapers! GROSS!! That can't taste good, there's just no way!

You know... I think it means they love you when they eat the stuff that smells like you (?) Separation anxiety - something like that

Hey LOOK, I'm a dog psychologist now, cool. ha

Wish I had advice about getting husbands to do stuff. I really REALLY (a few more reallys) suck at it =(

Oh no! That's just sad...

i know all about bad doggie behavior! hope it didn't take too long to clean up that mess.

I hope it didn't take long to clean that up. Have you thought of crate training? My dog was in a crate when we went out until she was 5 years old and old enough she didn't chew anything. She loved her "room" and was happy in it ... and a bonus, she didn't sleep on our couch, chase the cats or eat stuff she shouldn't be eating.

We have the same bouncy chair. :)

our husky did something simular one year while we fixed a flat tire ... he dug his nose into the bag of diapers and got one out (luckily it was fresh) and tore the thing apart in the little time it takes to unload a trunk, dig out a jack & spare, change a tire, drop in the flat, and reload the trunk again.
Yes a couple of good LONG walks that completely uses up the dog's energy will be very helpful. Might I also suggest a gentle leader type collar what fits the dog like a horse's harness. It will give you more control of the head, and where the head goes the body goes.
But yeah dad needs to get involved too or else you will have a beast vieing for attention/affection in your home.

Oooh, acting out a little, huh. I'm sure it doesn't help, but I totally feel your pain. The dirty diaper, though, that's particularly icky. hehe
