project inspiration
Here is my inspiration stash, I have some ideas brewing in my head and I'll be using some of the yarn there. Shown is some Hempathy, Summer Tweed and Cascade 220. I ran by Only Ewe and Cotton Too today and they bought a bunch of my patterns! If you're in the Alpharetta area and would like a nice color-copy of the pattern stop on by and get one! They have a load of the new Hempathy colors. I've been waiting YEARS for Hempathy to come out with new colors, they have some nice deep/bold purple's, blue's and a new green.
I've received such a nice response from people about my pattern, supportive and encouraging. I've read a lot of "hate" threads on MANY different forums over the past few years about crappy LYS owners and besides maybe 1 rare bad experience of my own I have to say LYS owners have been some of the nicest women I have met (I haven't met a male LYS owner yet, though I am sure there are some nice ones out there too).
Last night I went all crazy and stayed up all hours of the night creating a scrapbook for the first 6 months of BG's life. Target has an entire line of Shabby Chic stuff that matches the way I decorated her room so of course I had to get the scrapbook kit.

Hi there!
I have been reading your blog for a while and wanted to tell you how great I think it is! I have been knitting for a while and I admire your work very much. It is fun to read about someone as excited about knitting as I am and it makes me want to knit more! =).
Also me and your daughter have the same birthday and I thought it was funny so I just had to comment! Have a great rest of the day and enjoy the nice weather! ^_~

That reminds me ... I still haven't finished my daughter's baby photo album ... she's 4 1/2. I also have to start one for the baby. I have a million pictures of them, so I better get started.

such a pretty little knitter you have there! I thought it was great that I got to see a photo of you two on the Yarn Harlot's website. She looks like she is ready to grab the podcast microphone and broadcast with mom (hint hint).
Hope you return to the airwaves soon.
PS How daring you are to allow a drool monster near all that yarn....its a good thing there's a computer between me and it or your yarn would be all wet.
