Anxious

Well it's sort of anit-climactic at this point concerning the Fruit Loop pattern. I wish I could have had it published about 2 months ago! Such is life, such is life. Hopefully this WEEK though! :)

I did record a new podcast so I was productive this week as far as "knitting content" goes. I didn't knit much this week, I've been re-reading all the Harry Potter books. I thought I was preparing for the November release of the movie. Ya know what? They moved it back. UNTIL JULY of next year. So mad. The rumor is because Batman was such a huge hit for Warner, they don't have any huge blockbusters for next year and moved this to basically make sure next year wasn't a sucky year financially. Gotta love corporate America. Batman did rock though.

So here is a photo I stole from Claudia.

It's BG and I and the "Fiber Dogs" enjoying some time at Claudia's house, attempting to enter all her stash into Ravelry. She got through 4 balls of yarn. Baby's are distracting, and BG mostly wanted to run around and touch everything.

Then I stole another photos from Amanda.

That's one of my Country Kiddie test knits (I knit that one) up on display in the sock yarn section at Knitch. It's funny because I often knit in "Knitch" colors because the colors they use for the store are my favorite shades of teal and blue which of course look wonderful with pale browns and white.

I'm still mad about Harry Potter, in fact I think I might actually be depressed. Harry Potter movies are NOT meant to be release in the summer, they are so very *fall* to me. BAH!!!! Am in the only one who thinks it's crappy to release it in the summer (ignoring the fact it's been delayed over 6 months).

:(

I so agree with you. I am upset about the release date being moved back until next Summer, too. For the last few years I have counted on seeing a HP movie in the winter, I probably won't even go see in the Summer but wait until it is out on DVD in the Fall. Bummer.

Can I tell you how HOPPING MAD my 14 year old daughter is about the Harry Potter delay?????

Glad to hear your voice again!

I totally agree with you! They are supposed to be released in the fall, they take place at a school, schools start in fall, it just works that way. I'm bummed, but I guess the movies to me have been declining a little bit each release anyway. Don't get me wrong, I will be there to watch this movie in person (and these are the only movies I bother to arrange for a babysitter for, lol), but I guess we can't do much about it. They better not bump back the next one, too, though....
