Dress up that adorable little girl in fresh and fruity colors. When worked in a lightweight, easy-care hemp and cotton blend (or similar) yarn, this sleeveless top or dress is the perfect outfit for those hot summer days, and when temperatures cool down, it will look equally pretty over a little white t-shirt.

The top/dress is knit in the round starting with color A at the bottom hem. The skirt section is knit to the desired length for a top or dress, and then gathered in the front of the skirt before joining color B to knit the bodice. The skirt can be knit in a plain stockinette stitch, or one of the pretty pattern stitches noted in Variations.

Wow! I wish my youngest (2 1/2) was younger! I love it! And your daughter is just beautiful! I love seeing the pictures of her as she grows...

SOOO cute! I am loving your stuff, keep it coming!

I had thought that you had just changed colours for the different versions, until I looked closer and saw that they all had individual stitch patterns. This is a great pattern, so adorable! :)

Awesome, awesome awesome! I'm so proud of your pattern writing. I'll get a pic to you of the test knit. Sorry I was a lousy test knitter and disappeared with the goods!

Congrats - it's published! You did a fabulous job! And as always, BG is super cute and adorable.

What an adorable and sweet knit! I love the way it changes from pattern to pattern with the different stitches! You should design a big person one since it looks so comfy! :)

That is adorable! My sister is pregnant and if she has a girl I will be buying the pattern and knitting at least one up! :)

I will be buying this soon! I love it!!!
