back in business
BG and I had a blast at her 1st birthday, so I owe the blog a "12 month" post soon. Tomorrow is my first day of work (sporting a new haircut and color to celebrate the change of lifestyle) so it might be a few days before I get around to it. I am knitting, but not currently happy with anything I am knitting. Knitting slump! I hate those.
Today we drove 8 hours home, making the trip in record time. I am nearly horse from a sore throat and then talking way to much on top of it, and when we got home the electricity was out for several hours so the house was 85 degree's. It was an adventure. I'm now in bed with the fan on and enjoying my last few hours as a stay at home mom. I keep thinking I have to set my alarm clock to wake me up, but I have this new alarm clock called BG that has never let me down, 7am here I come.

Yay to 1st birthdays! Happy Birthday BG! This is the best photo of you two and it was the one I chose to comment on in flickr before I read this post. Good luck at work tomorrow! It's sad - especially mondays - but I think you may like it more than you expect. I REALLY love having some adult time and some me time and it makes me REALLY look forward to going home every day.
