How I spend my time

I'm on a yarn diet, and suddenly experiencing a knitting slump when my knitting had seemed to be going so well. I spend part of my late evenings relaxing in the CPA Swap group on Ravelry. It's a lot of fun and a great way to get rid of yarn you know you won't knit with. My favorite thread to hang out in is the "BAD A55" thread because it has nicer yarn for picky people like me. There is a lot of junk yarn on there but if you learn which threads to watch and watch it on and off enough you can get lucky. I've gotten some Mmmmalabrigo, some pretty blue cherry tree sock yarn and some other really pretty pale aqua 100% wool that I can't remember the name of. I've seen socks that rock on there, and even a really cool Alice Starmore Aran knitting book. Join up but make sure to read all the rules first, it makes a world of difference in your enjoyment!

I'm working on knitting some very manly gray and black socks for the husbeast out of "Aussie Socks" because of course he would want socks made out of Australian wool. Plain vanilla socks always seem like a good cure for the knitting blues.

I thought about you today when I was looking at baby shoes, so I re-looked you up! Hi!
