Knots of Yarn Closing - Cumming, GA

I just read on Ravelry that the shop is closing. The owner is one of the nicest yarn show owners I have ever met. Incredibly kind and encouraging. Word is stock including books is 30% off. They where the first store to carry one of my patterns actually and it was yarn from her store that inspired me to design my first pattern in the first place.

I assume they want to sell all the stock, so please stop by and help them clean up before closing down for good. I am really sad about this, I don't know why they are closing as they have only been open about a year. I am guessing bad timing with the economy, now is really not a good time for small business owners who sell non-essential goods.

Comments Donna says;

Oh that stinks! I hate when local shops close up - especially local yarn shops. This economy is a killer I tell ya.

Jewel says;

How sad! I was thinking of opening a yarn shop in my area. But with the economy the way it is we decided not too.
